Kim Cloutier
Enriched by several years of experience in Quebec and Europe, my professional career today leads me to develop projects to my image, that is to say, simple, refined and functional, but above all sustainable.
The relationship with nature has always been important to me. Nature is a place where you can be alone with your thoughts, a place of peace and reflection. For me, it's an escape from the hectic pace of our lives and it's a bit of that that I try to integrate into my projects by bringing light and opening to the outside world.
The constructive aspect of the profession is also of great interest to me, because architecture is more than an assembly of living spaces, it is the execution details that tie a project together. In addition, the creation of healthy and sustainable environments is at the heart of my thoughts, the creation of built spaces must be in symbiosis with the nature that surrounds us if we want a certain sustainability.
Having obtained certification as a Passive House Designer and also being a LEED Green Associate, I aspire to guide my practice towards even higher standards in energy performance and environmental sustainability. With the aim of promoting a healthier living environment for us all.
